Two Killed In Chunchula Crash

A single-vehicle crash left two dead and two injured Saturday morning. The accident occurred near Chunchula Landfill Road on Highway 45. The vehicle left the road, rolled over, and hit a tree.

All five occupants of the car were from Citronelle. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 43-year-old Curtis Miller and 21-year-old James Toomey Jr were killed in the crash. Neither were wearing their seat belt.

Two others were injured in the accident: 24-year-old Steven Miller and 19-year-old Skylar Toomey. They were both taken to University Hospital.

It is unclear at this time what caused the accident.
