**Update** Fox 10 News is reporting that the suspect was apprehended at 10:00 PM last night in the woods near Fowler Road.
Citronelle Police are on the lookout for a man in handcuffs. Al.com reports that after a traffic stop, the suspect was placed in handcuffs but managed to escape the authorities into the nearby woods. He was still at large as of 9:00 PM last night.
Police are investigating along County Road 96 in the area of Cedar Creek Bridge. If anyone has information that could lead to the suspect’s apprehension they should contact Citronelle Police at (251) 866-5527.
