A string of home burglaries has occurred on the south side of Chickasaw the past few weeks. As a result, the Chickasaw Police Department is asking citizens to keep a close eye on the situation and report anything suspicious. They also advise that no one approaches any potential thieves on their own.
The robberies have been occurring during the day. The thieves are kicking in doors and stealing TVs, iPads, and other electronics.
Chickasaw Police are asking that residents help keep an eye on their neighbor’s homes when they are not there. If you see something suspicious, immediately call the police. Try to give as many details as possible so they have a better chance of apprehending the criminals. Details such as what the suspect is wearing and the make and model of the car they are driving are very helpful.
